Hello! So I know it's not Friday yet but because of the holiday I have a four day weekend (yay!) and so today is like Friday for me. And honestly on Friday I am probably going to be nursing a hangover while in a car for about 5 hours so no blogging for me. This holiday weekend I am traveling to Chicago with a couple of my good friends and fiancee! I have never been to a big city for New Year's Eve so I am expecting this one to be a good one :) Okay so getting back on track, I woke up the other day and decided I needed to make some huge decor changes to my home. Everything is starting to feel dated and I am the kind of person that like to change things up quite often. Since all of the rooms in my place need some updating I am going to start in one room, the living room. My living room has a lot of brown in it, brown walls, brown couch, brown curtains, brown decor. I apparently really liked brown at the time but now I am sick of it! I decided that if I painted the wall's a different color and threw in some new decor it would make a huge difference. Grey walls are all the rage right now and I would love to have grey on my walls but with my huge brown couch I needed a color that would blend a little better. I decided on Behr Sculptor's Clay, I would describe it as a light cool beige. I also have chair railing on almost every single wall in my home so I decided that has to go too (at least in the living room). I am excited for this new look and I will share it with you as soon as I am done! So here are some ideas for the style of my new look.

Obviously I like neutrals A LOT. Not that I don't like color, there is quite a bit of color in my bedroom but I think neutrals just look more elegant and put together than lots of loud color. Well I hope you all have a great New Year's, thanks for stopping by!
